Litokol SafetyGel – Ready-to-Use Waterproofing and Crack-Isolation Membrane, 22 lb (10 kg)

SafetyGel is a ready-to-use, elastic gel membrane that forms a continuous, watertight barrier under tile and natural stone. It also protects the installation from substrate movement and cracking.

It goes on with a roller, brush, smooth steel trowel or airless sprayer. For exterior work and movement joints, reinforce it with SafetyTex Anti-Fracture fabric as part of the TileSafe System. Also available in an 11 lb pail.

Suitable For

Showers, bathrooms, swimming pools, terraces, balconies and other indoor or outdoor wet areas, under ceramic, porcelain, glass mosaic and natural stone.

How to Use

1. Prepare a sound, clean substrate.
2. Apply the first coat; embed SafetyTex or HydroBand where required.
3. Apply the second coat and let it dry before tiling (see Litokol data sheet).
